Here are some recent examples of my work including some drawings and commissions. Drawing is a key element to my work. There is no challenge more daunting and rewarding as the human form, so life drawing is a regular exercise and remains my first inspiration.

The sea and forest where I now live also provides irresistible images of constantly changing colour and light.

I work mainly in series, as there is always a lot to be explored in any subject, more than one painting can express. Usually there is more than one subject in progress at a time. Currently the " Birch" series is moving with the colours of the seasons and has been under way for more than a year.
