Welcome to my website. I hope you enjoy browsing this selection of my work.

For many years my work was entirely representational and mainly figurative. I am now exploring a more abstract approach in my new series of Figure into Landscape. I feel that what moves me is coming through more strongly and clearly in my current work as I allow the paintings to paint themselves, as it were.

Each subject has many interpretations and I return to them again and again. Particularly the ever changing birches which grow so abundantly in the forest where I live. It is an ongoing exploration and love affair with the beautiful world around us.
